Les Clefs de Versailles Hackathon

A 4-day streak of back-to-back hackathons. The grind and fun never stop.
Right after making it to the finals of the Tech:Europe Paris AI Hackathon with a GitHub jukebox, I jumped straight into the next challenge. The very next day was the Les Clefs de Versailles Hackathon. I competed alongside 52 talented AI experts.
We ended up winning 3rd place with Le Scribe Royal, a royal AI assistant for personalized visits to Château de Versailles. This just hits different. Now I have a winning picture standing on the podium at Château de Versailles. This is so cool.
Massive thanks to my amazing team: Hugo Philipp, Dorian Lagadec, and Matteo Lhommeau.
Building Le Scribe Royal
Our solution required processing diverse types of data and routing user requests effectively. We built a multimodal RAG pipeline using the Qwen Multimodal embedding model.

The architecture of Le Scribe Royal featuring an agentic routing system and multimodal RAG pipeline.
At the core of the assistant is an agentic routing system. It analyzes incoming queries, breaks them down into sub-tasks, and chooses the right tools for the job. These tools include external calls to Google Maps, the Château agenda, and live weather APIs.
For the frontend experience, we integrated voice interaction using Voxtral from Mistral. We paired this with an interactive map interface to help visitors navigate the grounds.
You can check out the code in our GitHub repository.
Huge shoutout to the partners who made this event happen: Château de Versailles, datacraft, Wavestone, Mistral AI, and ILLUIN Technology.
